Link to resource: Christian Response to Disease and Pandemics
Created by: Nathan Jérémie-Brink (New Brunswick Theological Seminary)
This resource was created by Nathan Jérémie-Brink of New Brusnwick Theological Seminary and his graduate student research assistant Susan McGeown. It provides students and researchers with the opportunity to explore events, locations, and sources related to Christian responses to disease and pandemics both chronologically and geospatially.
Supported by funding from the Science for Seminaries grant program, the project allows students to explore the intersection between the Christian movement and community responses to disease and pandemic over the past 2,000 years. This resource can also help connect students to academic work on these topics and help teachers and scholars think about the connections between the history of religion and science.
